Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
- Speak Romanian, Bulgarian, Russian, or Farsi at an advanced level (see language requirements)
- Can provide accurate and clear interpretation between dentists and patients
- Are friendly, patient, hospitable, and focused on patient satisfaction
- Make patients feel safe and show empathy throughout examination and treatment
- Hand over and record documents carefully — attentive and responsible
- Preferably have experience in healthcare, health tourism, hospitality, or guest relations
- Can adapt to flexible working hours and enjoy teamwork
Language Requirements — Mandatory
Advanced command of at least one of Romanian, Bulgarian, Russian, or Farsi is mandatory.
Our patients mainly come from Romania, Bulgaria, Russian-speaking countries, and Iran. Speaking more than one of these languages is a strong advantage.
Turkish is required to communicate with our dentists and clinical team.
Candidates without an advanced level in at least one of Romanian, Bulgarian, Russian, or Farsi will not be considered.
Responsibilities
The Medical Interpreter & Patient Greeter will be the first point of contact for international patients at the clinic and will accompany them throughout their visit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients arriving at the clinic and guiding them through the process
- Handing over and explaining the necessary documents (information and consent forms, treatment plan, schedule, etc.)
- Interpreting between the dentist and the patient during examinations
- Accompanying patients in treatment planning meetings and relaying their questions
- Explaining aftercare instructions in the patient's language
- Following the schedule together with the patient coordinator and clinical team
- Making sure patients feel comfortable and safe at the clinic
Preferred Experience
Priority will be given to candidates with interpreting or patient-greeting experience in a hospital, clinic, or health tourism company.
Familiarity with basic dental / medical terminology and speaking more than one target language are strong advantages.
