Missing Tooth Treatments · All-on-4

Fixed teeth same day with just 4 implants.

All-on-4 (All-on-Four) is an advanced implant technique in which a full-arch fixed prosthesis is supported by only 4 strategically placed implants for patients who have lost — or are about to lose — all their teeth in one arch. In eligible cases, you leave the clinic with temporary fixed teeth on the very day the implants are placed, with no waiting period and no removable denture.

About the treatment

What is All-on-4 and how does it work?

In All-on-4, two implants are placed vertically in the front of the jaw and two are angled at 30–45° toward the back. The angled placement anchors the implants in the densest areas of available bone, improving stability while eliminating the need for bone grafting in most patients. These four implants form the foundation for a fixed prosthesis that supports the entire arch.

4 implants, one full arch

Traditional approaches may require 8–10 implants per arch. With All-on-4, just 4 strategically positioned implants carry the full-arch prosthesis.

Fixed teeth the same day

In eligible cases, temporary fixed teeth are attached within hours of implant placement — no edentulous waiting period.

Graft-free in most cases

The angled rear implants make the most of available bone, so bone grafts and sinus-lift procedures are usually unnecessary.

Palate-free and fixed

Unlike removable dentures, the prosthesis does not cover the palate and stays firmly in place — taste and speech feel just like natural teeth.

Who it's for

Who is a candidate for All-on-4?

All-on-4 was developed specifically for patients who have already lost — or are about to lose — all of their teeth in one or both arches. Final candidacy is determined by your dentist after a digital CT scan, intraoral examination, and overall health assessment.

Patients with complete tooth loss

Provides a fixed-teeth solution in a single procedure for patients who are fully edentulous in the upper arch, lower arch, or both.

Patients with teeth beyond saving

When advanced gum disease or decay makes retention of existing teeth impossible, extractions and implant placement can be performed in the same session.

Patients unhappy with removable dentures

Offers a stable, comfortable alternative for full-denture wearers who experience slipping, clicking, or discomfort from palate coverage.

Patients with moderate bone loss

Thanks to the angled implant placement, All-on-4 can often be performed without bone grafting even in cases of moderate bone resorption.

Advantages

Advantages of All-on-4

The key distinction between All-on-4 and conventional implant or denture approaches is achieving a fixed, comfortable result with fewer implants and in less time.

Results in a single session

Extraction, implant placement, and temporary fixed teeth are completed the same day in most cases — no months of being toothless or waiting with removable dentures.

Reduces the need for grafting

The angled implant placement uses existing bone; additional surgeries such as bone grafting and sinus lifts are not required for most patients, simplifying recovery.

More cost-effective

Because only 4 implants are used per arch instead of 8–10, the overall treatment cost is noticeably lower than conventional full-arch implant therapy.

Natural feel and appearance

The palate-free fixed prosthesis restores taste, speech, and chewing as closely as possible to natural teeth, and is designed to match each patient's aesthetic goals.

Proven and reliable

All-on-4 has been practiced for over 20 years and its success is supported by long-term scientific follow-up studies.

Easy maintenance

Cared for like natural teeth — regular brushing and periodic check-ups. No need to remove the prosthesis and soak it in special solution like a removable denture.

Decision guide

All-on-4 or another option?

The right approach depends on the number of missing teeth, jaw bone density, and your expectations. A brief comparison:

Difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6

Both are fixed full-arch solutions. When bone volume allows and extra support is desired, All-on-Six with 6 implants may be preferred; your dentist will advise based on your CT scan.

I'm only missing a few teeth

If only one or a few teeth are missing, full-arch treatment is not needed. A single-tooth dental implant is the healthiest and most permanent solution for individual gaps.

I have severe bone loss

When bone loss in the upper jaw is too great for standard implants, a zygomatic implant anchored in the cheekbone can still achieve a fixed-teeth result.

I don't want surgery

For patients who are not suitable for — or prefer to avoid — surgery, full and partial denture options are evaluated; the best path is decided together at your consultation.

Treatment process

How does All-on-4 treatment progress?

From the first consultation to your permanent prosthesis, every step is guided by digital planning and carried out transparently.

Examination and CT scan

An intraoral evaluation and digital 3D CT scan determine the volume of your jaw bone and your suitability for All-on-4.

Digital treatment planning

The angle and position of each implant are planned digitally; the treatment timeline and payment options are also confirmed at this stage.

Implant placement and temporary teeth

Any necessary extractions are performed, 4 implants are placed, and your temporary fixed teeth are fitted on the same day.

Healing period

Approximately 3 months are allowed for the implants to integrate with the bone. During this time you eat, drink, and speak normally with your temporary fixed teeth.

Permanent prosthesis

Once healing is complete, impressions are taken and your custom-made permanent prosthesis is fitted. Regular check-ups ensure long-term success.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about All-on-4

Is All-on-4 treatment painful?
No. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so you will feel no pain during the operation. We also offer sedation for patients with dental anxiety. Any mild sensitivity afterward is easily managed with the recommended pain relief.
Do I really leave with teeth the same day?
Yes — in eligible cases, your temporary fixed teeth are fitted on the day the implants are placed, and you walk out of the clinic with them. You can eat, drink, and speak comfortably with these temporary teeth throughout the healing period; the permanent prosthesis is placed once healing is complete.
What is the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
Both are fixed full-arch solutions; the difference is the number of implants — 4 in All-on-4, 6 in All-on-6. All-on-6 may be preferred when bone volume allows and additional support is desired. Which option suits you is determined after a CT scan and examination.
I have bone loss — can I still get All-on-4?
In most cases, yes. One of the greatest advantages of All-on-4 is that its angled implant placement allows treatment without bone grafting even with moderate bone loss. In upper jaws with severe bone resorption, zygomatic implants are considered as an alternative.
How long do All-on-4 implants last?
With proper oral hygiene and regular check-ups, All-on-4 implants can last many years. The prosthesis on top may be renewed over time, while the implants themselves remain protected with consistent care and periodic visits.
How much does All-on-4 treatment cost?
The cost varies by case and depends on factors such as the implant brand, prosthesis material, and the number of arches treated. It is generally more cost-effective than conventional full-arch implant therapy requiring 8–10 implants. Contact us or book a consultation for a personalised quote.
